Our Founder, ZHANE
CEO, Zhane Howard, started Only Raw Beauty in 2017. She suffered from depression, lowself-esteem, lack of confidence and self-love. One of her biggest insecurities was her hair and it was the powerful impact of starting a beauty brand that truly helped her heal.Adding extensions to her hair boosted her confidence and she felt that if hair extensions could help her, then they could also do wonders for other women that face similar struggles. From that moment, Zhane knew that her purpose was to help women become who they desire to be, and advocate for women wanting to change and/or add to their appearance without feeling shameful for not being natural. This is why the mission of Only Raw Beauty is to encourage, showcase women embracing one another, and normalize sisterhood amongst the black community.
